Investment Manager

HCM VIF is looking for Investment Manager with a sharp investment mindset, a wide network in the startup ecosystem, and a desire to create long-term impacts for Vietnam's innovation economy. This position is responsible for the entire life cycle of a deal, from finding opportunities, appraisal, submission to the Investment Council to accompanying the business after investment.
Main responsibilities
- Search, access and build a pipeline of quality investment opportunities.
- Evaluate startups through analysis of business model, market, technology, founding team and growth potential.
- Manage the entire investment process from sourcing, screening, due diligence, term sheet to closing.
- Develop investment documents, Investment Memo and present at the Investment Council.
- Support post-portfolio management, coordinate with startups in growth activities, subsequent capital raising and divestment strategies.
- Build and develop relationships with investment funds, corporations, universities, incubators, accelerators and startup communities.
- Monitor technology trends, innovations and key industries in Vietnam and the region.
Request
- Graduated from University or higher in Finance, Investment, Economics, Business Administration or related fields.
- Minimum 05 years of experience in Venture Capital, Private Equity, Investment Banking, Corporate Venture Capital or Management Consulting.
- Experienced in financial analysis, business valuation and due diligence.
- Understanding of the startup ecosystem, technology and innovation.
- Skills in writing Investment Memo and presenting to leaders at all levels and the Investment Council.
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, communicating and working with international partners).
- Priority is given to candidates with CFA, CAIA, CPA or investment-related certificates.
